coast and even though it's beautiful, it's really hard to appreciate -
you have to see it first! We drove about a hundred miles up along the
coast before we actually saw a *glimpse* of it. We couldn't help but
compare it (as we oftentimes do with almost anything wherever we are)
to California's ruggedly beautiful -not to mention mosty accessible-
coast.
So last night we stayed at one of the parks at Rockaway Beach along
HW101. We paid 25 bucks just for an over-nighter and we didn't even
bother to hook up.

I chanced upon to view your blog and found it very interesting. Great ... Keep it up!
That picture looks familiar - Jetty Fishery, perhaps? I did a story there last year when hubby and I went crabbing. We noticed the RV spots and wondered what it would be like to stay there. $25 isn't a bad deal!

Thanks again, Frank.
Shannon,
yeah, you nailed it! Same place!! That's a nice story you wrote, I looked at the photos and the boats reminded me of the ones that were docked there when we arrived. It seemed like a good spot for late BBQs by the fire, or a day of crabbing with the family, as most of our neighbors were doing. Thanks for dropping by!
